Bargaining Update

Good afternoon,

The bargaining team wanted to let you know we have been working very hard every week so we are ready to bargain when that time comes...We wanted to reach out and communicate with you what our top priorities are based on a representative from each of your buildings.

-Getting the district to pay the hard cap (the maximum the state allows) to reduce insurance costs to members
-Salary increase for everyone
-Step with correlating pay for everyone
-Lower class sizes at the elementary especially with discipline problems that have been occurring.

If you feel strongly about one of these or feel a different item needs to be discussed please let us know.

    100 percent agree with lower class sizes at elementary level. The behaviors are a huge concern and very hard to manage, and also looking ahead to what fall 2020 will look like having missed this end of the year time - our littles will require even more individualized attention and those home habits will be even harder to break into routine. Thank you for making that a priority!

 Good morning, I am so happy to report we have reached a tentative agreement on our contract.  This is the result of hours and hours of preparation and bargaining.  Please thank the team for all of their hard work that they put in for YOU.  I will post a detailed summary of the changes and explanations below.  Here are a couple of reminders... Survey for Support Staff
